Use sign up forms
Essential advice, but many sites miss it. You should feature a Sign-Up form on each page of your site. Some of our sites have more than one form per page.
All the forms fundamentally do the same thing, but each form means something slightly different to us, the least of which we are able to identify which form works best.
There are two new things to consider with forms and both revolve around Flash. At the end of a video presentation – which is either driven within Flash or is from YouTube, the more flexible from a form filling perspective is Flash, as within a Flash video player you can embed a form within the video, so, as you have the viewers attention, you can invite them to complete the form.
The second thing about Flash forms is that you can make other Flash elements react or be dependent on the result of a form, this makes for intelligent forms, we cannot wait to find some great examples – coming up soon no doubt!
